Malik Khalid Shafiq, PTI’s legal team head, informed reporters that his applications for exemptions from court appearances for the four leaders were rejected.

The court scheduled hearings for FIR No 732 on Jan 15, while cases for FIR Nos 832, 835, and 1,277 will be heard on Jan 22 and 23.

Judge Sheikh announced that these cases will now be heard separately from other accused. All cases pertain to Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) for riots following PTI founder Imran Khan’s arrest on May 9, 2023.
