Cop suspended

NAROWAL: A police constable in Sialkot has been suspended from service for allegedly sexually harassing a woman who visited the police station to secure the release of her husband.

The woman alleged the constable demanded sexual favours in exchange for her husband’s release and threatened to implicate him in a drug case if she refused. She provided evidence of the constable’s inappropriate messages and phone calls to the media.

DPO Hasan Iqbal took notice of the incident and suspended Constable Faisal.
