
PESHAWAR: Dr Mohammad Saleem has been appointed as the new director-general health services Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as his predecessor, Dr Shaukat Ali, is under suspension following a probe in a case related to the transfer of a low-grade official.
A notification issued by the establishment department said that Dr Mohammad Saleem, chief executive officer of the Faculty of Paramedics and Allied Health Science, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been made new DG health of the province.
Dr Saleem, a BPS-20 management cadre officer, has served on important positions in Provincial Health Services Academy, Postgraduate Paramedical Institute and other health management posts, was selected from a panel of three senior doctors.
