PESHAWAR: Governor Haji Ghulam Ali cast his vote in Irrigation Colony on Warsak Raod polling station. He urged people to respect each other and exercise their voting rights abiding by norms of democracy. Peshawar Mayor Haji Zubair Ali was also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Town police on Thursday arrested an impersonated policeman at a polling station and shifted him to police station for interrogation.

Officials said that a man wearing police uniform was arrested on suspicion at a polling station of NA-31, Peshawar. A 30-bore pistol was also recovered from his possession.

The arrested fake policeman was shifted to Town police station for interrogation.
