TOBA TEK SINGH: A farmer was killed on Friday after getting injured in a fodder cutting machine in Chak 346-JB, Gojra.

Nawazish Ali was crushed and gravely hurt when his clothes unexpectedly became tangled up in the machine. He was taken to the hospital in the Gojra Tehsil Headquarters where he passed away from his injuries.

Additionally, two brothers were critically wounded as a result of their rivals’ indiscriminate shooting at them in Faisalabad on Friday night at Abdullah Chowk.

Awais and Umar Riaz were ambushed at their home in the Ilyas Garden neighbourhood, according to the police.

FATHER KILLER: A young man allegedly tortured to death his father over a monetary dispute on Friday at Faisalabad’s Chak 396-GB.

Police said Khan Muhammad exchanged words with his father, Laal Khan, and attacked him with wooden bars as a result he was seriously wounded and was rushed to Tandlianwala THQ hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Tandlianwala Saddar police arrested the accused.

Also, the Tandlianwala City police registered on Friday a case of killing an administrator of Tandlianwala’s Jamia Umme Salma Albanat in Islampura against unknown people.

According to an FIR registered under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the PPC, complainant Umar Farooq said his father Qari Muhammad Ashraf Anjum had been missing from the seminary since Dec 3 and his body was found buried in backside of the seminary packed in a polythene bag.

He alleged his father had been tortured to death.

The police are looking into the case.
