LAHORE: The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC) on Tuesday announced that the annual matric and intermediate examinations will be conducted on the basis of full syllabi.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the committee held at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore office.

The decision of holding full syllabi examinations of metric and intermediate classes was conveyed to all the education boards of the province.

Following the decision, the students of schools and colleges will have to prepare for the exams covering complete courses of their respective classes.

According to a notification available with Dawn, “The PBCC further decided that practical examinations of SSC & HSSC will be held during the annual examinations 2022 in all BISEs of Punjab and the practical papers will be set only from Part-II syllabus of SSC & HSSC.

The decision was also approved by Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) and the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) in its 32nd meeting.
