KARACHI: In what was a dress rehearsal for the Women’s Pakistan Cup one-day tournament final, PCB Blasters ended the undefeated run of PCB Challengers when they sealed a two-wicket over the table-toppers here at the National Stadium on Sunday.
Nida Dar’s unbeaten 93 (117 balls, 13 boundaries) was the driving force behind Blasters’ victory on the last day of league-round matches as they chased down a target of149.
The decider on Tuesday will be a day-night contest. Meanwhile in the inconsequential game at the Oval Academy Ground, PCB Dynamites crashed to their sixth consecutive defeat when Jaweria Rauf’s unconquered 88 helped PCB Strikers get the over the line by seven wickets.
