LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has sealed five filling stations in the city over short measuring of petrol.

According to the ACE, acting on complaints, it inspected filling stations at Samanabad, Gulshan-i-Ravi and Allama Iqbal Town and sealed five filling stations for selling less petrol against per litre rate.

The sealed filling stations are Chenab Filling Station, Gasoline and Fine of Iqbal Town, Faiz Filling Station in Gulshan-i-Ravi and Aalam Petroleum in Samanabad.

Meanwhile, the ACE arrested an accountant of the DPO Office Sahiwal on charges of embezzlement. Iftikhar Ahmed allegedly embezzled Rs18m.

A case has been registered against the suspect.
