TOBA TEK SINGH: Six members of a family were killed and two others injured in a car-trailer collision here on Wednesday on Lahore-Abdul Hakim motorway (M-3) between Rajana and Mureedwala interchanges.

Rescue 1122 said a family of Khanewal was on its way to Kasur by a car. Near Chak 212 GB (Khidderwala ), one of its tyres burst as a result the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a trailer. Consequently Ikram, his wife Musarrat, his minor son Abdullah and two relatives Najma Bibi and Safdar were killed on the spot.

Safdar’s three minor sons Usman, Adeel and Ihsan were rushed to Samundri THQ hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
