SWABI: A dispute over a common guest room claimed lives of two brothers and a girl in Dagai village of Razaar tehsil here on Monday, police officials said.

Kalu Khan police station SHO Fayaz Khan said that Musafar Khan and his younger brother Sabaz Ali exchanged arguments over the arrival of guests at their common guest room.

The guests were invited by Ali as his daughter had completed learning the holy Quran.

Later, Musafar and his son, Zafar Khan opened fire on Ali and his daughter.

Ali died on the spot, while his daughter succumbed to injuries in Razaar Civil Hospital.

Later, relatives of Ali caught hold of Musafar and attacked him with knives, killing him on the spot. Zafar managed to escape.

The police registered cross FIRs into the incident.

Meanwhile, Pesco officials and traders clashed in Tordhar area when the latter refused to arrange wire for installing electricity meters outside their shops on Monday.

The traders said that it was the responsibility of the company to arrange the wire for installing the meters.

This led to a clash, leading to postponement of meter installation by Pesco officials.
