BADIN: The 88th urs of revered Sufi saint Syed Saman Shah Sarkar popularly known as ‘Larr jo Laal’ began at his shrine near Pangrio town on Tuesday.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur along with custodian of the shrine Syed Ali Bakhsh Shah inaugurated the urs by jointly laying a wreath on the saint’s grave.

Several thousand devotees from across the province arrived in the town to participate in the urs celebrations.

Extraordinary security arrangements were seen to ensure peace during the celebrations as the urs draws a large number of devotees and visitors in lower Sindh.
