MIRPURKHAS: A group of eight armed men barged into a house in the Old Mirpurkhas area on Tuesday and kidnapped a woman and her two daughters.

Complainant Ghous Bakhsh told the Old Mirpurkhas police that he had a dispute with a relative, Ali Nawaz Machhi, who along with his son, Ayaz Ali, and others, barged into his house and beat him up. They then took away his wife, Mir Zadi, and daughters, 12-year-old Shehzadi and one-year-old Sanam, he said.

Ghous Bakhsh was taken to the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital for treatment of his head injuries.

In his complaint lodged with the police, he said he knew three of the other attackers and named them as Wahid Bakhsh, Raja and Lateef.
