Will never seek help from India: Hyrbyair Marri

Baloch separatist leader Hyrbyair Marri has said the Baloch people are not in favour of seeking help from India to gain freedom, said a report published on the BBC Urdu website.
In an interview in London, Marri said he was fighting for an "independent Balochistan" however neither he nor his associates have any affiliation with the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militant group.
In response to a question about separatist Baloch Republican Party (BRP) leader Brahamdagh Bugti's statement that he was ready to give up his demand for an independent Balochistan if the Baloch so desired, Marri said: "No, i don't think the majority of Baloch people want to live with Pakistan."
Marri said he was not seeking assistance from India for his movement: "I have never sought help from them, nor will I in the future."
He also rejected reports that he travelled to India to start the Free Balochistan Movement.
Hyrbyair Marri — who has been living in self-exile in London since 2000 — is alleged to have been leading the banned BLA.
The June 15, 2013 attack on the Ziarat Residency in Quetta was carried out by the BLA which also claimed responsibility for the murder of 13 non-Baloch labourers in September the same year.
In June this year, an anti-terrorism court in Quetta had indicted Marri and 32 others in the Ziarat Residency bombing case.
Earlier, in a report published by The Hindu, representative of the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Organisation (BLO) Balaach Pardili was quoted as saying that he was hoping to "facilitate Nawabzada [Hyrbyair] Marri’s visit to Delhi in near future.”
According to The Hindu's report, Pardili, who hails from Afghanistan, has been living in Delhi since 2009 and was recently contacted by Marri to represent him at public meetings.

It is sinful on the part of the British government to let people like marri and altaf Hussein live in peace.
We, as Pakistanis have always seen Britain as an ally and flocked to it in great numbers to in search of better lives.
It is utterly disappointing to see that Britain does not support Pakistan on its national security interests. There is a need for the Pakistani population in Britain to raise these matters with their local MPs.
This marri should be extradited to Pakistan ASAP.

He spent most of his life in Afghanistan after he fled in 1978, then he came back to Pakistan in 1992, enjoyed the MP and minister life since 1996, involved in killings of many including Justice Nawaz Marri in 1998 and escaped from Pakistan now spending lavish life in London since then....what he knows about the Baloch people and Baluchistan. I'm from a town on indian border, my father recalls the partition time, asking my grandfather that what if we are not made part of India, would we migrate to Pakistan? My grandfather said "No, we would never leave as countries come and go but not our homeland for thousands of years". My father never agreed with his father but with the passage of time, he started to believe in his father's view with full faith and conviction.

A separate Baluchistan or breakup of Pakistan may have been possible before Pakistan became nuclear. Now its next to impossible. Pakistan is too strong a country now then back in 1971 to let one province go independent. It wont happen. All these exiled Baloch leaders can try all they want with or without help from India or wherever. Bramdagh Bugti now knows this fact. Others will realise with time.

Forty percent of people living in Sindh, and 60% living in southern Punjab are Baloch. I think a few among them who are hungry for power and perks should also run away to enemy countries like England and demand for establishment of more independent Balochistans in their own provinces. The English will be elated and will be more than happy to harbor and pamper them just for the sake of multiplying Pakistan's problems. That is the English who started as pirates and had at one time seized more than half the world through piracy. They were ultimately punished by one of their own kind, the Americans. Are they planning on getting some more punishment?

Only 2 days ago the chief of AIIB stated that even India should be part of CPEC to make it feasible. Remember, India is the second largest contributor in AIIB after China. In today's world development does not happen selectively. And how will CPEC help common Baloch? They have no technical skills. Chinese don't allow even local engineers and skilled labour in projects undertaken by them. It will be the same story for Baloch and Pakistani elite from govt and military would have made a good sum.

There are several Baluch & Afgani migrants living in Delhi. Lately, in places like Lajpat Nagar, Bhogal, Amar Colony they have started their own enterprises like bakeries, travel agencies, money changers etc. I just wonder how they got the license to do this work.
