LAHORE: Sufi poet and senior lawyer Muhammad Akmal Bhatti, commonly known as Baba Sain, passed away here on Friday morning. He was laid to rest at a local graveyard.

Baba Sain was the author of Jhok Ranjhan, a Sufi poetry collection that became popular among people from all walks of life.

He is survived by a widow and three sons.

Qul will be held after Asr prayers at 60-K, Wahdat Colony, on Saturday (today).
