POF win two trophies

WAH CANTT, July 17: The Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board chief Lt-Gen Abdul Qayyum, said that there was no short-cut to attain excellence and laurel at international and national level but what needed was hard working, team work, latest technics and discipline.

He was speaking to the POF hockey team “which won the All Pakistan Anti-Narcotics Hockey Tournament at Rawalpindi and all Pakistan Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Hockey Tournament at Muzaffarabad recently.

Gen Qayyum added that to boost the POF’s hockey status at national level the best way was to produce best players through latest scientific ways like wireless coaching, watching and discussing video tapes especially focus on short passes and man to man marking strategy.
