Robbers kill man

SHIKARPUR, April 4 A group of robbers killed a man in village Bakhisho Ujjan within the jurisdiction of Dakhan police station late on Friday.

Reports said that some men entered the house of Ghulam Hyder Ujjan with the intention of stealing buffalo. House inmates put up a resistance on which robbers opened fire killing 30-year-old Ghulam Hyder Ujjan and wounding his father Ismail Ujjan.

Thieves made good their escape.

Later, villagers blocked Dakhan-Garhi Yasin Indus Highway by placing the body of the deceased.
