Answers (1) Film actor Mohammad Ali played Waheed's brother, friend and father in many films. Their first film together was Kaneez (1965) while the last movie was Maang Meri Bhardo (1983). Together they acted in more than 25 films between 1965-83; (2) Three. Their first film together was Phool Mere Gulshan Ka (1974), followed by Shama (1974) and Jab Jab Phool Khilay (1975); (3) The sad version of Tera mera saathi hai lehrata samadar in Samandar (Deebo Bhattacharya; 1968) and Jaise taise beet gaya din, his duet with actress Deeba in Ishara (Sohail Rana; 1969), were his only attempts as a singer; (4) It wasn't Waheed Murad but Darpan, Santosh Kumar's brother and a successful actor himself. Waheed Murad debuted as a leading man three years later with Heera Aur Patthar; (5) Eleven. Insaan Badalta Hai was his first production followed by Heera Aur Patthar, Armaan, Ehsaan, Samandar, Ishara, Naseeb Apna Apna, Mastana Mahi, Jaal and Hero; (6) Waheed Murad acted in the Pashto version of Kaala Dhanda Goray Loge (1981). The film was titled Pakhtoon Pa Vilayat Kamba; (7) Waheed Murad's last complete film Zalzala was released in 1987, four years after his death. Hero, which was his last production was released in 1985 and would not have been complete had the director not used a stunt double to complete most of the shots left unfinished with the actor's untimely death. Both films failed to make it big at the box office; (8) Ahmed Rushdi lent his voice as a playback singer to Waheed Murad throughout the latter's film career — from Heera Aur Patthar (song Mujhe tum se mohabbat hai) to Hero (song Ban kay misra ghazal ka chali aao na).

While Ahmed Rushdi died in April 1983, Waheed Murad died in November of the same year. Ahmed Rushdi recorded over 150 songs on Waheed Murad alone during his illustrious career, including hits such as Koko Korrina, Akele Na Jana, Bhooli Hui Hoon Daastan, Haan Isi Morh Par and Aae Abr-i-karam; (9) Waheed Murad became the first and only Pakistani actor ever to be mentioned in a Hollywood flick — Agent Cody Banks 2 Destination London (2003). Mistakenly, he was referred to as a famous 'Indian' actor!; (10) The actor who played was not a regular showbiz personality but is presently the President of Pakistan! Asif Ali Zardari acted the part of the young Waheed Murad in the film Salgirah.
