LAHORE, Nov 3: Two Punjabi and one Urdu film are expected to be released on Eidul Azha.“Danay Pay Dana”, which has been directed by Syed Noor and produced by Safdar Malik, Suhail Malik and Shazil Noor, will be the major attraction for cine-goers. The cast includes Saima, Moamar Rana, stage actor Zafari Khan and Haya Ali. Film star Shahid will stage a comeback (in the film) after 15 years.

The other Punjabi flick “Thakur 420” will feature Iftikhar Thakur and eight other comedians. Nargis and Moamar Rana will play lead roles.

The inclusion of comedians in films is a new trend which is meant to offer comic relief to the public. The film has been directed by Masood Butt and produced by Ghafoor Butt.

Urdu film “No Tension” has been directed by Roshan Malik and will feature, among others, a new face Zarin who will play the lead role. — Staff Reporter
