KARACHI, Nov 2: Baloch FC, Army and Wapda registered wins as Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Afghan FC drew level in the four Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches played at separate venues on Tuesday.

Baloch FC edged past PIA 1-0 at the Korangi Baloch Stadium in Karachi with Saeed Ahmad scoring for the winners in the 22nd minute.

At the KPT-Benazir Sports Complex, KPT drew 2-2 with Afghan FC. Mohammad bin Younus scored two goals for KPT in the 29th and 37th minutes while Afghan FC came back into the game in the second half with Jadeed Khan (77th min) and Ahmed Shah (80th min) scoring for them.

Meanwhile, Army beat Young Blood FC 1-0 at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi. The decider was scored by Mubashir Husain in the 90+4 injury time. And at the PAF Complex in Peshawar, Wapda beat PAF 2-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Asif (38th min) and Khuda Bakhsh (88th min).

Wednesday’s fixtures: NBP v KESC at Korangi Baloch Stadium, Karachi; KRL v PMC Athletico at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi (12.30pm); Navy v PEL also at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi. Matches, unless mentioned otherwise, kick off at 3.00pm.
