PESHAWAR Former MPA and member of PPP-Sherpao, Alamzeb Umerzai and two others have been shot dead in Charsadda on Thursday, reports DawnNews.

Alamzeb, along with three other people, was travelling on the bypass road, when unknown miscreants opened fire on them. As a result, Alamzeb and two other people lost their lives.

The bodies and injured have been shifted to the DHQ hospital in Charsadda. Police are investigating the incident, but do not have any leads as yet on who may be responsible for the incident.

It is however said that Alamzeb Umerzai had political rivalry with the political leadership of Charsadda, however investigators are calling this lead too premature.
