MANSEHRA, Feb 14: A man and his daughter were killed over a marriage dispute here on Saturday.

According to police, Khaista Khan and his daughter Saima Bibi were on their way from Balakot to Mansehra to appear in the family court that when they got off the bus at Mansehra bus stand, Saima’s husband Mohammad Amir along with his father Mohammad Kamran and two other accomplices Mohammad Chan and Mohammad Daray opened fire on them, killing them on the spot. The accused escaped the area after the attack.

Mohammad Shafiq, brother of slain Saima Bibi, in his report with the City Police Station said that his sister was married to Mohammad Shafiq five years ago, but they could not get along well and Saima wanted to have the marriage dissolved.
