RAWALPINDI: Deputy Commissioner Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema on Saturday asked the Parks and Horticulture Agency and civic bodies to complete beautification work in the garrison city.

Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, all institutions should take steps in cooperation to make Rawalpindi a beautiful, green and model city and continuous monitoring of the ongoing projects should be ensured.

He stated this during a meeting regarding beautification schemes was held at the Deputy Commissioner Complex. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Cantonment, Assistant Commissioner Saddar, Assistant Commissioner City, Assistant Commissioner Kallar Syedan, Deputy Director Development, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi and other relevant officers.
