Are you a fan of The Bad Guys? Do you like stories about a clever Wolf, a sneaky Snake, a wild Piranha, a shy Shark and a smart Tarantula who can hack computers? If yes, then The Bad Guys: Breaking In is the perfect show for you!

Based on the graphic novel series of the same name, this animated Netflix series is a fun, silly prequel to the 2022 movie. It tells the story of what happened before the movie and how this strange group of animals first met and became a team. Their journey is full of funny mistakes, big dreams and lots of action.

Made by DreamWorks Animation Television, the first season comprises nine episodes, each 25 minutes long. The episodes are short, exciting and packed with jokes. The story follows Mr Wolf, Mr Shark, Mr Piranha, Mr Snake and Ms Tarantula as they try to become famous villains. They want to be on the “Worst of the Worst” list, but things don’t always go as planned. Their ideas often fail, their plans go wrong and luck is rarely on their side — but that’s what makes the show so funny!

Every episode has a small mission or heist that usually turns into chaos. But along the way, the team learns important lessons about friendship, trust and helping each other. Even though they are called “bad guys,” they show that working together makes them stronger.

One of the best things about the series is its characters. The voice actors bring lots of energy and life to the team, making them easy to like and fun to watch. Even though the voices are different from the movie, the characters still feel familiar. They all have issues that come with team building. They lack trust, and misunderstandings play a role in every episode.

They are clumsy and cute, but at least they are consistent. Sometimes they adopt a father, meet the long-lost mother and even come across the mentor they forgot.

The animation is bright, colourful and very cartoon-like. It may not look as fancy as the movie, but it is good and makes you laugh. Overall, The Bad Guys: Breaking In is a fun, funny and exciting show for the Bad Guy lovers. It’s full of laughs, teamwork and adventure — and a great way to spend time with your favourite bad guys!
