KARACHI: Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited (WEPL) posted a profit after tax of Rs1.28 billion in the first half of 2025, slightly lower than Rs1.32bn in the same period last year.

The company expanded its retail network by adding 12 new fuel sites, opening six convenience stores, and upgrading several existing outlets.

The Board of Directors also authorised the management, in principle, to explore potential investment and acquisition opportunities in the oil marketing sector. The company said it would assess the feasibility and viability of such ventures before proceeding.
