RAWALPINDI: The dispute between the newspaper managements and sales’ agents — which resulted in the non-appearance of newspapers on Sunday and Monday — was resolved today [May 27] to the satisfaction of the parties through the good offices of Fed­eral Information Minister Maulana Kausar Niazi. The agents and hawkers, demanding higher commission rate over the sale of new­spapers following raise in their prices, had gone on strike on Saturday. The All Pakistan Newspapers Society had fixed the price of all metropolitan newspapers at 45 paisa per copy from May 25. — News agencies
