ISLAMABAD: Pakistan outplayed Korea and Hong Kong in the pool matches of the 21st Asian Junior Squash Team Championship in Chennai on Thursday.

On the second day of the continental event, the Pakistan team defeated Korea 3-0 as Noor Zaman beat Seo Jin Oh of Korea 6-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-7 in 28min, Hamza Khan downed Kun Kim 12-10, 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6 in 35min and Ashab Irfan routed Teo Kyung Jung 11-5, 11-3, 11-4 in 18min.

Later in the day, Pakistan in their fourth pool match blanked Hong Kong 3-0.

Noor beat Arthur Law Pak Ki of Hong Kong 11-8, 11-7, 11-3 in 21min, Hamza outplayed Kelvin Lu Chun Yu 11-7, 11-5, 11-6 in 22min and Ashab outgunned Tam Tse Shing 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 in 25min.
