SWABI: The consumers in the Shahmansoor Township here have complained about gas outages and low pressure for last few weeks.

Talking to Dawn on Monday, they said they were sustaining gas outages despite onset of summer season.

The consumers said gas supply was not available to them both in the morning and evening.

They said they lodged complaints about low pressure and outages, but the SNGPL staff failed to resolve the issue.

They also blasted the elected representatives for failing to take up the matter with the authorities concerned.

Mohammad Shahzad Khan, a local resident, said people were confronting prolonged gas outage and low pressure, forcing them to bring food from restaurants.

A doctor said there was a prolonged gas outage on Sunday evening, troubling the residents.

SNGPL officials did not attend calls to seek their comment on the matter.
