PESHAWAR: Ten terrorists, among them four ‘commanders’, were killed during an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan, an ISPR press release said.
It said security forces conducted the operation on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in a hideout in the tribal district. The security forces cordoned off the hideout, triggering a heavy exchange of fire between security personnel and the terrorists.
Four terrorist ‘commanders’ were among 10 insurgents killed in the operation.
A large number of weapons and ammunition were found in the hideout of insurgents, according to the ISPR.
