GUJRANWALA: The Cantonment police seized the body of a 17-year-old girl near Chenab gate Rahwali Cantt on Thursday.

The police arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Kinza, 17.

Some locals spotted the body with her throat slit and alerted the police. The deceased was the daughter of Ejaz Masih, of Dheengnanwali village.

Station House Officer Adnan Ejaz told reporters that Kinza had been missing overnight and her parents had submitted an application with the police. The police are looking into the matter.

The body was shifted to the Gujranwala District Headquarters Hospital for an autopsy and a medico-legal report will ascertain further facts.

SEXUAL ABUSE: The Sohdra police arrested a suspect on Thursday for sexually abusing two minor boys.

A resident of Gaka Mitar village submitted an application to the police that his five-year-old son and seven-year-old nephew went out when the suspect sexually abused them in a nearby field.

HELD: The Kamoki police arrested three people at old Sabzi Mandi and seized more than 5,000 kites and 200 twines from them.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Hashim Gujjar told people that the death of a boy by kite string-related injuries triggered the police action against kite manufacturers and sellers.

The police arrested Hamza, Haris and Imran.
