NSC branch

Published February 22, 2021

I HAVE been a long time account holder at the F-10 Markaz branch of the National Savings Centre (NSC) in Islamabad. The branch is located at an unsuitable location. To enter the centre, all account holders have to use five to six steep stairs that are completely dilapidated. There is no ramp facility even for the differently-abled customers.

I have brought this issue to the notice of the director-general by personally visiting his office, but all my efforts have been in vain. We have been left at the mercy of the stairs with no solution in sight.

The branch should be immediately shifted to a more suitable location while keeping the needs of elderly people in mind since most of the account holders happen to be senior citizens and widows.
