Social nuisance

THE residential area around Miran Mohammad Shah Road also has some wedding halls where ceremonies have been taking place even during the pandemic. These gatherings not only violate the SOPs, but are also a nuisance for the area residents who have to endure blaring music till late in the night.

The arrival of groom further arouses the crowd, and they resort to fireworks and aerial firing to express their joy. Such uncivil behaviour recently went on till dawn at one of the wedding halls. Is there no one to look into the matter and put a stop to such an evil practice?
