KCCI AGM held

KARACHI, Sept 29: The 44th annual general meeting of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) was held here on Thursday with President Khalid Firoz in the chair.

The AGM was informed that the KCCI managing committee in its meeting held on September 27 elected Abdul Majeed Memon and Naqi Bari as senior vice-president and vice-president of the chamber for the year 2005-06, respectively.

The meeting also elected following as members of the managing committee: Saqib Naseem, Alamgir A. Shaikh, Shamoon Bakar Ali, Mohammad Rafiq Mysorewala, Abdul Basit Haji Abdul Razzak, Sheikh Ahmed Zameer, Talat Mehmood, Munir Sultan, Abdul Majeed Memon, Salahuddin Ahmed, Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan, Mansoor Ahmed, Naser Noor and Zahid Hussain from the member class, while Shahid Ismail had been elected as member in town association seat, says a press release.
