KARACHI: Nouman Aftab was fully extended in a very tough u-18 quarterfinal by Noor-e-Mustafa before the former triumphed to reach semis while in the ladies singles event, Urooj Iltafat beat Eraj batool Zaidi 8-3 to reach the final in the 6th Essa Lab Open National Junior and Seniors Tennis championship being played at Karachi Ghmkhana on Wednesday.

U-10 semifinal : Abubaker Talha bt Nadir Reza 8-6Zain Ehtasahm bt Abdullah Aftab 8-1.

U-12 semifinal : Taha Aman bt m Ali 6-3,6-1Asher Mir bt Saim Danish 6-2,6-0.

U-14 semifinal : Yahya Ehtasham bt Ibrahim Kha n6-0,6-3.

U-16 quarter-final Amin Shafi bt Arish 6-0.6-0 Nouman Aftab bt Rayyan jawad 6-2,6-0.

U-16 semifinal : Amin Shafi bt Hasheesh Kumder 6-1,6-0.

U-18 quarter-final: Nouman Aftab bt noor -e-mustafa 7-5,3-6,6-0.

Ladies Single Semifinal: Urooj Iltafat bt Eraj batool Zaidi 8-3.

Soft Tennis semifinal: Robin Das bt Ahmed Ehtisham 5-2Asad Khan bt Eibad Sarwar Hussain Khan 6-4.

Mens Double semifinal: Asad khan +Aqeel Shabbir bt Vinod Das + Shahbaz 6-3, 5-7 10.3.
