OKARA: Tanveer Abbas, the brother of famous former Test cricketer Zaheer Abbas, died in a road accident in Shergarh on Friday while his son Dabeer Abbas was injured.

The 60-year-old Tanveer along with his son Dabeer, had arrived in Shergarh from Karachi to visit his in-laws.

On Friday, Tanveer was riding a motorcycle with his son when near village 25/1-AL, their motorcycle collided with a bullock cart.

Tanveer died at the scene while Dabeer got severely injured and was rushed to hospital.

Tanveer’s body was shifted to Karachi in the evening.
