LAHORE: The Lahore Region trials for the upcoming Inter-region U-19 tournament will be held at the LCCA ground here on July 11 and 12.

The region’s two teams — comprising 20 members each — will be finalised after the trials.

The first day has been reserved for trials while fitness and medical test of the shortlisted players will be conducted on the second day.

The four-member selection committee headed by Wasim Haider, also a member of the national selection committee, will conduct the trials.

The region’s assistant coaches, Saud Ahmed Khan and Intikhab Alam, will be the other two members of the selection committee while one nomination of regional selector, who must be a former cricketer, will be announced shortly.
