GWADAR: Four kidnapped men and two “missing” persons returned home in Kech district on Thursday.

Poet and short story writer Akram Sahab Khan and his son Wasim Sahab Khan were kidnapped from Pasni area about two weeks ago.

Balaach and his brother Javed, who belong to Koshqalat area near Tump, were abducted two years ago when they were going to Gwadar from Turbat. “We were released by our kidnappers at a street in Karachi last night,” Javed said.

Usman Khuda Bakhsh, who went missing from Bal Negore area long time ago, also returned home.

No details about who took them away and whether they paid any ransom for their release were immediately available.

Maqbool Ahmed was picked up by security forces along with his brother last month. While Mr Ahmed was released, his brother is still in the custody of security forces.
