MULTAN: Authorities opened tenders for the Multan Metro Bus Project civil works on Monday in the committee room of commissioner office.

Finance and Development Director Amjad Shoaib Khan Tareen, Multan Development Authority Director of Engineering Nazeer Ahmed Chughtai and Highway Department Superintendent Engineer Khawar Bhutta were present.

Seven companies -- Habib Construction Services, ESER-SMC, Maqbool Co and Sons, Mitracon, ZKB, QBA and Reliable Remake -- participated in the tendering.

The Multan Metro Bus project is 18.5 kilometre that would be done in six packages with the cost of Rs17.66 billion.
