QUETTA: Militants fired rockets at a Frontier Corps (FC) patrol in Bolan district of Balochistan on Friday, injuring an officer and four others, DawnNews reported.
It was followed by an exchange of fire between the security forces and armed militants, who managed to escape into the surrounding mountainous area during the fighting.
The wounded officers were then shifted to Sibi Hospital for treatment.
Balochistan, the country's largest province by area, is riddled with terrorist attacks and militant groups, who are also involved in various kidnappings among other things. It is presently undergoing a strict operation against militants led by the armed forces and FC personnel.

You know who is the real culprits behind all these crimes in Baluchistan. All the landlords there are the root cause why don't you go after them. It was an excellent move that the armed forces killed Akbar Bugti, rest of his family should be given stern warnings and the rest of the landlords should be hunted down too. If you really want peace in the province. Cut the root the tree will die.
