KARACHI, Dec 10: Malir Cantonment Gymkhana lifted the All Karachi Al Faateh Ramazan cricket trophy beating Malir Companion by seven wickets on Sunday at the Malir Raiders ground.

Malir Companion batting first were bowled out for 152 in their 20 overs with Ziaullah scoring 47, Ahmer Sohail 35 and Ather Ali 29.

Leg-spinner Amir Rasool was the pick of the Cantonment attack picking up four for 26. He was ably assisted by Shahid Niaz and Rajaz Aftab with two for 32 apiece. With opening bat Tariq Ali cracking 78 runs in 37 balls studded with 10 fours and two sixes, and other good knocks by Ahsan Shahzad (24) and Tanseer Ahmed 23 not out, Malir Cantonment reached 153 for 3 in only 16.3 overs. Athar Ali bagged two for 38 for the losers.
