ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday said that government was committed to ensuring peace in the country and for further improving the security situation.

Presiding a high level meeting here at Interior Ministry held to review the security matters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the minister said the government was using all available resources to improve the law and order situation and maintain peace throughout the country.

Secretary Interior Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Home Secretary and IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Director General National Crisis Management Cell also attended the meeting.

Rehman Malik said that provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be fully assisted in improving the security situation.
