QUETTA, Nov 30: At meetings on Tuesday to mark the Founding Day of their party, leaders of the Balochistan chapter of People's Party pledged to continue their struggle for “fulfilling the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto”.

One of the party's functions was held at the press club that was attended, among others, by Minister for Communications and Works Mir Sadiq Umrani, Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani, Syed S. Shah and Ali Ahmed Pirkani.

A separate gathering was held at the party's offices where PPP leaders Bismillah Khan Kakar, Akhtar Shah, Sattar Mandokhel and Nazar Muhammad Kakar addressed party workers and supporters.

Speakers at the two gatherings said that PPP was an ideological party which believed in the philosophy of Bhuttoism to secure the rights of the people through a democratic struggle.—Correspondent
