LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 3: In a midnight search operation, police backed by personnel of anti-terror squad and elite force arrested 15 suspected militants including wanted criminals in Tajori, Dhoda, Daulat Tajazai and other localities of the district.

“Under the command of DPO Gul Wali Khan Mohmand, the law enforcers launched the operation in several areas simultaneously”, said an official on Wednesday.

The official said that police arrested 15 suspected militants including several dreaded outlaws from Dhoda, Tajazai, Ghaznikhel, Tajori, Naurang and Paharkhel Thall localities and seized sophisticated weapons from them.

Police also recovered three Kalashnikov rifles, two Kalakov rifles, seven pistols, three shotguns and 300 bullets from the outlaws and registered cases against them under relevant sections of law in the concerned police stations. 9
