KHAR: Security forces destroyed the houses of three militants involved in several sabotage activities in different areas of Khar tehsil of Bajaur Agency the other day, a local administration official said.

The official said that security forces and personnel of Bajaur Levies during a joint search operation destroyed the houses of three militants in Shinkoot and Shahnary areas.

The official, who didn’t disclose the name of militants, claimed that they were wanted to the administration for their alleged involvement in various terror activities in the region.

The official said that the three militants had been hiding for the last several months. He said that the security forces with the help of local administration had started search operation against the suspected militants across the agency.

“Such actions against the militants will continue in the entire agency to keep the region free of militant activities,” said the official.— Correspondent
