CHITRAL: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) celebrated its 30th Foundation Day with traditional zeal and fervor across the district, with the main event held in Chitraltehsil.

Addressing a large gathering of party workers, speakers paid glowing tributes to PTI founder Imran Khan, stating he endured the hardships of imprisonment for the sake of the nation’s future, while refusing to compromise on his core ideology ofHaqeeqi Azadi(True Freedom).

The speakers described PTI as a transformative force in Pakistani politics, crediting it with empowering ordinary citizens and promoting awareness of democratic and constitutional rights.

During the event, participants demanded the immediate release of Imran Khan as well as detained Member of the National Assembly Abdul Latif. Party leaders reiterated their commitment to continuing the struggle for the rule of law and justice, emphasizing that workers remain steadfast in support of their leadership.

Those who addressed the ceremony included tehsil president Shahid Ahmed, Naveed Ahmed Baig, Irshad Hussain, Haji Abdul Rahman, Hayat-ur-Rahman, Nabek Sharakat Kalash advocate, Zubair, Shahzeb, Rafiullah, Aminullah, Naseem Advocate and Zia Shah.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the three decades of the party’s political journey. Following the main event, a similar programme was also organised in Drosh to commemorate the foundation day.
