KARACHI: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto said that his Government has decided to disseminate the message and thoughts of the Quaid-i-Azam in every nook and corner of the country and to [reorient] the thinking of the intellectuals and practice of the politicians along the path that was carved out by the Father of the Nation. Inaugurating the deliberations of the National Committee for the centenary celebrations of the Quaid-i-Azam, he pointed out the significance of these celebrations in the context of Pakistan’s political evolution and in the face of challenges of the contemporary situation. The Prime Minister emphasised that allegiance to the Quaid should mean fidelity to the principles which he espoused vigorously in his life and the values which he promoted consistently in his career.

[Meanwhile, as reported by news agencies from Rawalpindi,] the Senior Deputy Direc­tor, Intelligence Bureau, Mr Mohammad Isa, today [Aug 26] produced before the Supreme Court several intelligence files and consolidated reports on the subversive activities of NAP leaders, including Mr Abdul Wali Khan, Mr Ajmal Khattak and Sardar Khair Baksh Marri.
