QUETTA: At least six people, including a doctor and Levies personnel, were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a wagon and a passenger bus in the Mastung area, some 50km away from provincial capital Quetta, on Thursday.

Levies officials said a passenger wagon collided with an over speeding bus coming from the opposite direction on Quetta-Karachi National Highway. As a result of collision, six passengers were killed and 10 injured.

Levies officials rushed to the site soon after the accident and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Hospital, Mastung. The injured were sent to Civil Hospital Quetta after initial treatment.

The deceased were identified as Dr Khair Muhammad, Levies personnel Muhammad Ehsan, Muhammad Muzzamil, Muhammad and Ghulam Haider. The body of a woman remains unidentified till the filing of this report.
