KARACHI: Police on Thursday arrested four suspects in North Nazimabad and claimed that they were affiliated with Lyari’s gang warfare elements.

“Acting on tip off, Sharea Noorjehan police arrested four suspects linked with Saleem Choclaiti group of Lyari gang warfare,” said Central SSP Malik Murtaza.Among the suspects was Naeem Bikak, a most-wanted suspect, he said.

The other suspects were identified as Nadeem, Imran and Zakir Dada.

“They were involved in acts of terrorism and targeted killings,” said the SSP. They were also involved in extortion, kidnapping for ransom and had been running a network of drugs supply, he said.
