NOWSHERA: A man and his wife were killed as result of an old enmity in Nehal village of Jehangira area here on Sunday.

The police identified the victims as Naimat Khan and Shahida, who were shot dead at their home.

Soon after receiving information about the firing, a Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and shifted bodies to the Qazi Medical Complex, Nowshera, for autopsy.

Shehzad Khan, 18, a son of the deceased, nominated four accused, including Abdullah, Abbas, Tariq and Nawaz, in the FIR registered with the Akora Khattak police station. He stated that his family had an old enmity with the accused.

The accused escaped after the incident.
