Man killed in attack near Radio Pakistan

KARACHI: A man was shot at and wounded in a suspected targeted attack in the Preedy area on Sunday night, police said. Later in the night he died.

They added that Shahidullah, 45, was on his way to his apartment near Radio Pakistan on M.A. Jinnah Road when unknown suspect(s) fired at him from behind.

He sustained three bullet wounds and was taken to the nearby Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital.

He was later moved to the Aga Khan University Hospital, where his condition, deteriorated and he died, said South-SSP Sheeraz Nazeer.

He owned a shop in the Saddar’s electronics market. He originally hailed from Quetta, he added.
