THE international airport at Talagang Tornolis is near completion. The government has formed a committee to suggest the name of the airport. I suggest the airport be named after the founder of Pakistan, which will be a most appropriate name for this biggest airport of Pakistan.
The airport is unique in its nature as it will be linked with Metro bus service and provide facilities for 50,000 passengers and prove to be a state-of-the-art project.

There was no need to form a committee to name the new airport (if it is ever completed). It could simply be called "Islamabad International Airport" as no airport with this name already exists in the country.
Simple as that. We are masters of wasting time on useless matters.

I strongly recommend that the New Airport at Talagang Tornolis be named after MR SATTAR EDHI. T am sure the Quaid would endorse this in the absence of true recognition for Edhi Sahib.
